Some brands you discover and immediately think… wait this is so cool! That was exactly our thoughts when we heard from the small, women-owned brand Ecorale. Especially when they told us about their mission to collect plastic from Bali’s beaches and transform it into stunning beads for their bikinis. Because we love cool girls starting cool, sustainable brands that care about our earth. 

Ecorale started in Bali, where Anastasiia, the brand's founder, spent time living close to the ocean and realized she wanted to create something that actually gave back to it. She later moved to Amsterdam to study Sustainable Business, and that's where the brand really took shape. As Anastasiia puts it, "it helped me understand how to build it the right way, not just make it look sustainable, but actually be it."

Every Ecorale bikini is handcrafted in Bali by local artisans, made to last, and comes with an eco-bead pressed from plastic collected off ocean beaches. 1 kg of ocean plastic is transformed into one bead on your bikini. So when you wear a bikini with multiple beads, you know you’ve helped make the world a little better by removing several kilos of plastic from the ocean. It's swimwear with a story and a purpose.

Ecorale isn't trend-driven. It's for the women who live close to the water, who care about what they wear and what it leaves behind. Pieces designed to move with you through sunrise swims, surf sessions, and slow salty afternoons…season after season. And trip after trip.

What we felt instantly when connecting with Ecorale was a shared way of seeing the world. Creating from a place of love for the ocean and wanting women to feel confident. Confident in their bodies, in what they’re wearing and how they’re living. And letting that lead.
