Hi, I'm Mascha
Born and raised in the Netherlands, I’ve spent the past few years creating a life that allows me to work remotely and live freely. For over 3 years, I’ve embraced the freedom of working from anywhere, living in places like India, the US, Mexico, and Spain. Each of these experiences have shaped the life I live today, allowing me to pursue the lifestyle I’ve always dreamed of.
I love having the flexibility to work and live wherever I choose, and I’m especially drawn to small, sleepy surf towns where I can immerse myself in nature, surf, and a slower pace of life. I believe in living authentically and designing a life that aligns with my values. Through Dream Life Getaway, I want to show other women that they too can create the life they’ve always dreamed of—one filled with adventure, freedom, and purpose.
Hi, I'm Nathalie
I’m originally from Germany and now call Morocco my second home. My love for travel started with my very first solo trip to Australia, which was meant to be a short adventure but ended up lasting two incredible years. That experience completely shaped who I am today, teaching me to embrace the unknown, step outside my comfort zone, and trust that the best things often happen when you say yes to something new (it’s true what they say!! 🌺)
These days, you’ll usually find me walking down to the beach to catch the sunset, grabbing an iced coffee, or getting competitive in a game of rock-paper-scissors with the local kids. Morocco has given me so many beautiful memories, and I feel incredibly lucky to call this place home. I can’t waitttt to be your host and to share a little piece of it with all you girls, create unforgettable moments together, and welcome you into this special corner of the world!
Hi, I'm Sophia
I’m originally from the U.S. and have spent the past few years living on the coast of South Carolina, where I try to spend as much time by the ocean as possible. My love for really settling into a place when I travel started when I took a gap year during university and spent some time living on the coast of Ecuador. It completely changed the way I thought about travel and the kind of life I wanted - one with more freedom to travel and ideally lots of time near the sea.
After spending some time in Sri Lanka earlier this year surfing, doing yoga, and eating tons of rice and curry, I completely fell in love with the place and knew I wanted to find a way back.
These days, you’ll usually find me having a slow morning, surfing and getting way too excited about tiny baby waves, grabbing yet another coffee, or doing some yoga. I love deep convos, laughing at pretty much anything, and getting to know what lights other people up. I’m so excited to come back to Sri Lanka and experience it all with you girls!
Hi, I'm Sophie
I’ve always had a deep love for travel. During my studies, I used every opportunity I got to explore more of the world. In 2025, I spent six months living in Portugal as part of my minor in Marketing and Advertising.
When I returned to the Netherlands, I knew for sure that I wanted to combine my passion for design with travel. My goal is to continue working as a graphic designer within the travel industry.
For my graduation thesis, I reached out to Mascha to see if I could design a brandbook for Dream Life Getaway. She was immediately just as excited as I was. After a few calls, she learned more about my love for travel and mentioned she was looking for a new host, and asked if I would be interested. My answer was an immediate yes! In March, I co-hosted my first trip with Mascha in Sri Lanka. This fall, I will host my first trip solo. Yaaay! I’m incredibly excited to share my love for travel with you all. Bringing women together, hearing each other’s stories, and learning from one another is what I love most.
